The FACM becomes a SDSN Youth member organization
The ACM Foundation celebrates its incorporation as members to the Solutions for Sustainable Development Network (SDSN YOUTH).
On September 25th 2015, 193 member states of the United Nations adopted a set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals which will guide the social, economic and environmental actions everybody takes to achieve a sustainable future by the year 2030.
ACM Governing Board Meeting
The ACM Foundation Governing Board holds the past 24 April 2018, its first meeting this year, highlighting the renewal of the collaboration agreement with Mostra Viva del Mediterrani and the consolidation of the Master’s Degree in Human Rights, promoted by the FACM and the Euro-Mediterranean University Institute EMUI. The governing board approves the plans to expand the ACM network with the creation of new citizen circles in 2018, and celebrates the success of the activities and actions developed by those already created, the engines of the ACM Foundation.
19 beaches, 16 cities, 9 Mediterranean countries
Young people from France, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Albania, Cyprus, Montenegro, Lebanon and even Syria have spent a full day doing cleaning on their Mediterranean beaches, and participating in parallel activities aimed at raising awareness about environment. An initiative of Atelier of Mediterranean Young Citizens, with the support and participation of the ACM Foundation and its citizens circles.
Conference in València dedicated to sustainability in the Mediterranean
Valencia hosts the presentation of Quaderns de la Mediterrània by IEMED, and the new project Tools to transition untoTerritorialized Food Systems (SAT). An initiative undertaken by the Center for Rural Studies and International Agriculture (CERAI) and the Mediterranean Citizens´Assembly Foundation (FACM), in collaboration with Mensa Cívica, Resolis, and with the support of Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation.

“For the stability in the Mediterranean, the peace and reconciliation in Libya and Syria is urgent. It is necessary to advance in agriculture through the cultivation of native seeds recovering local techniques, to advance in plural education and the respect of each of the cultures. It is said by ACM Foundation.
April 12: Presentation in Valencia of the publication Quaderns de la Mediterrània – IEMED and the Program “Local food systems and sustainability in the Mediterranean”
The ACM Foundation and CERAI, in collaboration with RESOLIS (France) and Mensa Cívica (Spain) organizations, present in Valencia the first Spanish mapping of the best Territorialized Food Systems (SAT) initiatives taking into account their environmental, sociocultural and economic impacts.
In this act will be presented the publication Quaderns de la Mediterrània: “La naturaleza y la sostenibilidad. Convivir en el Mediterráneo” by IEMED.
